Tina Fey Explains Her Scar

Tina Fey Explains Her Scar
Creator of Emmy Award-winning TV show “30 Rock” Tina Fey has kept hush about the dramatic story behind the faint scar that is on the left side of her face. Miss Fey, 38, says, “It’s impossible to talk about it without somehow seemingly exploiting it and glorifying it.”
Finally opening up, Fey tells that when she was 5-years-old, she was playing in the front yard of her Upper Darby, Pennsylvania home when a stranger approached and cut her cheek. “She just thought somebody marked her with a pen, “ said her husband, Jeff Richmond.
And although we can only imagine what a traumatizing experience it must have been, Fey didn’t let it affect her childhood.
Continuing on, Tina tells, “I proceeded unaware of it. I was a very confident little kid. It’s really almost like I’m kind of able to forget about it, until I was on-camera.” Fey’s scenes were often shot from the right side.
She has since moved on and overcome the incident, but says that she does worry about how it may one day affect her role as a mother to her daughter Alice, 3.
Fey explained, “Supposedly, I will go crazy. My therapist says, ‘When Alice is the age that you were, you may go crazy.’”
