Brad Pitt was spotted in the midst of an interview by “Today Show” co-achor Ann Curry

Continuing along with his press run, Brad Pitt was spotted in the midst of an interview by “Today Show” co-achor Ann Curry on Monday afternoon (December 1).

The pair made their way around the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans, taking a break to sit down for the cameras in the midst of reconstruction efforts continuing after the devastation left behind by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

As for his Make It Right rebuilding effort, Pitt’s goal is to construct 150 new homes for residents - having completed six of those residences so far.

“We’ve cracked something here … these houses redefine affordable housing,” says Pitt. “This is a proving ground for a bigger idea that could work globally.”

Talking about how good it feels to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need, the “Fight Club” actor tells, “You have no idea what a high it is for me to see the delight on people’s faces when they see how these homes work. This project is not mine anymore. It’s so beyond me.”

Penelope Cruz was front and center at the Official Opening

Stepping out in the Big Apple, Penelope Cruz was front and center at the Official Opening of “A Diamond Is Forever Unbreakable Kiss Mistletoe Installation” in New York City on Monday (December 1).
The daytime event was held at Madison Square Park, with ribbon cutting ceremonies in recognition of the Elton John AIDS Foundation on World AIDS Day.
Meanwhile, in related news, recent rumors claim that the lovely Spanish actress is a bit upset with actor boyfriend Javier Bardem for taking on a new movie role.
A source told press, “Penelope and Javier wanted to take a year off after ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ to concentrate on their romance and spend some quality time together.”
Unfortunately for Penelope, Javier allegedly couldn’t resist the opportunity to star in Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s new film, with the insider adding, “Penelope is really angry because she turned down a few really good roles because she was so committed to their sabbatical.”

Kristen Stewart was spotted Not to put down any of the other actors

In the mood for something low-key and simple, Kristen Stewart was spotted grabbing up lunch at her local Los Angeles grocery store on Monday (December 1).

Steering clear of the upscale lunchspots, the “Twilight” cutie sported a grey hooded sweatshirt and jeans as she picked up a meal from the salad bar.

As previously reported by Gossip Girls, Miss Stewart recently was quite vocally supportive of her studly co-star Robert Pattinson, saying that she couldn’t picture anyone else in his role as Edward.

Of this, Kristen told press, “Not to put down any of the other actors who came in, because they were really good, but everyone came in playing Edward as this perfect, happy-go-lucky guy. But I got hardcore pain from Rob. It was purely just connection.”

Ashley Tisdale was spotted Keeping up on her chic look

Keeping up on her chic look, Ashley Tisdale was spotted paying a visit to her local Toluca Lake nail salon on Monday afternoon (December 1).

The “High School Musical” starlet sported a rather Bohemian look as she ventured inside for a relaxing manicure session.

Aside from tending to her appearance, the 23-year-old has been logging long hours in the studio as she finishes up work on her sophomore album from Warner Bros Records.

With hopes of big sales, maybe Tizzie can top the $5.5 million earned from her roles in High School Musical 3: Senior Year and Phineas & Ferb, sales of her album Headstrong and endorsement deals with the manufacturers of Degree Girl and Red by Mark Ecko this past year - putting her on Forbes Hollywood’s 10 Top-Paid Tweens list.
